​Welcome to Coquetdale Repair Café. Repair Cafés are a global movement to reduce waste, strengthen communities and share skills. Coquetdale Repair Café serves Rothbury and surrounding villages. See below for other Repair Cafes in the North East
What you can bring -
Clothes needing patching, or other mends, knitwear needing darning, frayed fabrics, broken toys, pet's toys, small electricals, broken basketry and furniture. We can sharpen garden tools and teach you to do it. Volunteers will be on hand to repair items you bring and teach new skills, especially if we know you are coming. While you are watching, enjoy a chat with tea or coffee and homemade cake.
So, Please Please Please CONTACT US before coming to the Repair Café about the item you want repaired and book an appointment. Appointments give us advance notice so we will have the tools, equipment and the right people for your repair and will save you waiting all day. Bear in mind though, some repairs might take longer than we expect so appointment times are a guideline.
We may take a week or two to get back to you when you email but we will!
